Many TCP connections opened in ESTABLISHED state in the netstat output of JBoss EAP 7 on Windows causing port conflicts

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • Many TCP connections opened in ESTABLISHED state in the netstat output of JBoss EAP 7 on Windows causing port conflicts
  • We are getting port binding conflicts where JBoss or other services try to bind the port we configured because when JBoss is started it is binding a lot of ports on Windows that look like ephemeral ports.
