  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
  • Piranha LVS
  • Balancing other service than HTTP (i.e., SSH, LDAP, etc.)

Issue

  • Why is my Piranha/LVS virtual IP refusing connections?

Resolution

  • On your Piranha Configuration Tool webpage, click on the tab "Virtual Servers", then click on the "Monitoring Scripts" link at the top of the page.
  • Create a correct rule, compatible with your service for the send data & expected correct response.
  • If unable to do so, remove them and disable the script checking.
