- system will stay in OS setup interface for 30 minutes with Intel RSTE RAID 10

- Installation stalls because r/w requests to the RAID10 device are blocked after a while.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.0
- Systems configured with software RAID 10 (mdraid)
- installation filesystems use device partitions not LVM logical volumes
