Why during fail over to other node filesystem resource stop operation take excess of time or timed out?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • Why filesystem resource takes longer time and there would appear to not be any processes running on it when unmounted?
  • Why pcs filesystem failover takes around 2 minutes?
  • why the unmounting of filesystem is taking so long.
  • if we failover after 2 days of operation, the failover part around the shared filesystem will timeout.
  • During fail over to other node filesystem resource stop operation timed out if the value is 60s, and when we set the timeout value 120secs on the FS resource, it will succeed most times.

  • sharedFS_stop_0 on node1 'unknown error' (1): call=31, status=Timed Out, exitreason='Couldn't unmount /test; trying cleanup with TERM',
