RADOS Gateway quota not enforced for user defined outside of the Ceph cluster
Issue
- On a Ceph cluster providing
SWIFTaccess to an OpenStack cloud via a RADOS gateway where quotas has been defined, quotas are not enforced if the user comes from the Keystone backend, or an LDAP backend.
Environment
- Red Hat Ceph Storage (RHCS)
- 3.0 or older
- Reliable Autonomic Distributed Object Store Gateway (RADOS Gateway)
- Third party user database such as Keystone or a LDAP tree
