Is the NFS short read corruption bug resolved in RHEL?

Issue

  • When performing an NFS read of a small file, files are reported as smaller than they actually are.
  • Is the RPC bug resulting in corruption from NFS short reads resolved in RHEL?
  • We run SGI's Enhanced NFS server and are using the tunable nfsd_workaround_nfs3_xdr_readres_corruption to work around a known bug in the NFS client's symbol nfs3_xdr_readres. We wish to turn this workaround off, are RHEL NFS clients vulnerable to the bug?
