  • Bootstrap to Satellite 6 fails when using the rhn-migrate-classic-to-rhsm command on a client registered to a Satellite 5 environment fails with error 'list' object has no attribute 'split' while running rhn-migrate-classic-to-rhsm

  • RHN to RHSM migration fails with below error:

# /usr/sbin/rhn-migrate-classic-to-rhsm
Legacy username: rhn-user
Legacy password:
Destination username: rhn-user
Destination password:
'list' object has no attribute 'split'

Environment

  • Red Hat Satellite 6.2
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5,6,7
  • Migrating systems from Red Hat Satellite v 5 to v 6
