How to change file permissions of log files for mod_jk's JkLogFile and mod_rewrite's RewriteLog?

Issue

• How do I change file permissions for mod_jk's JkLogFile and mod_rewrite's RewriteLog? Both default to 644.
• When I set "umask 002" in Apache httpd start-up script, file permissions for other log files (error_log and access_log) were changed to 664. But both log files created byJkLogFile and RewriteLog were not changed.
