What are the steps to convert HTTP webservice to HTTPS webservice in Red Hat JBoss Fuse ?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • Currently user deployed their application web services into ESB Fuse karaf container as RESTFUL services and it uses the HTTP protocol.
  • User wanted to convert all the web services deployed in ESB as an HTTPS and access all the outside HTTPS web services via ESB.
  • How to convert the HTTP web services deployed in FUSEESB to HTTPS ?
  • How to consume external HTTPS web services via FUSEESB?
  • We have coded some integrations to SOAP webservices using CXFRS. Now we are developing first secure webservice using https. We added the certificate to our truststore, but we also need to authenticate as a client, with our certificate (and password).
  • Can you please assist us with securing CXF Endpoint. We have our custom keystore and CA signed certs imported in to the Kesytore. We need assistance with where and how to add these keystore and key values.

Up til now I have been using jetty as transport layer, but I have not seen any good examples for setting up ssl for a https client. Should i use http4 in stead? Should I use something other than CXFRS?

Environment
