Red Hat Enterprise Linux で SCSI テープデバイスに書き込む際に tar が I/O エラーで失敗する
Issue
tarを使用した単純なバックアップを行おうとすると、コマンドが失敗し以下のエラーが発生します。
tar:/dev/nst0:Cannot write:Input/output error
tar:Error is not recoverable: exiting now
- または、
/var/log/messagesで以下のエラーが表示されます。
Oct 1 15:06:16 hostname kernel: st0:Sense Key :Aborted Command [current]
Oct 1 15:06:16 hostname kernel: st0:Add.Sense:Information unit iuCRC error detected
