    <Details xml:lang="en:us" source="Mitre">
Vulnerability in the MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster product of Oracle MySQL (component: Client: mysqldump). Supported versions that are affected are MySQL Server: 8.4.0-8.4.12, 9.7.0-9.7.3, 26.7.0-26.7.1; MySQL Cluster: 8.0.0-8.0.49, 8.4.0-8.4.12, 9.7.0-9.7.3 and 26.7.0-26.7.1. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.5 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H).

    <Details xml:lang="en:us" source="Red Hat">
A flaw was found in the mysqldump component of MySQL. This issue may allow an attacker to impact the confidentiality, integrity, and/or availability of MySQL Server depending on the vulnerability details. Refer to the Oracle CPU advisory for component-specific impact.

    <Statement xml:lang="en:us">
This vulnerability is rated as Important severity because successful exploitation could lead to complete compromise of system confidentiality, integrity, and availability, though it is constrained by high attack complexity and the necessity of user interaction. In Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments, mysqldump is typically invoked by administrators or scheduled backup jobs rather than operating as an unauthenticated listening service. Consequently, exploitation requires targeting an administrative session connecting to an untrusted or malicious database endpoint, limiting general remote exposure.
