Updated rhevm-spice-client packages that include various enhancements are now
available.

Description

Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager provides access to virtual machines
using SPICE. These SPICE client packages provide the SPICE client for both
Windows 32-bit operating systems and Windows 64-bit operating systems.

  • An updated client is available which contains the following features:

  • Spice Seamless Migration (requires RHEL-6.4 hosts and the

"seamless_migration=on" option of "-spice" argument of qemu-kvm command line

  • Live Migration of VMs configured with Spice Native USB
  • Multi-monitor support single qxl for Linux guests.
  • HTTP Proxy support (ability to connect to the server via an HTTP proxy)

All administrators of Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization environments are advised
to install these updated packages.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously-released errata relevant
to your system have been applied.
