New php53-odbc64 packages are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.

Description

The php53-odbc64 packages provide a module which can be used to access ODBC
database interfaces from PHP 5.3 through the 64-bit API provided in the
unixODBC64 package.

  • This enhancement update adds the php53-odbc64 package to Red Hat Enterprise

Linux 5. (BZ#772293)

Users who are not encountering ODBC compatibility issues do not need to install
these packages. Users who need to access ODBC database interfaces from PHP 5.3
through the 64-bit API provided in the unixODBC64 package are advised to install
these new packages.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
