RHBA-2017:1062 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
spice-vdagent-win bug fix and enhancement update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
Updated spice-vdagent-win packages that fix a bug are now available.
Description
spice-vdagent-win provides a service and an agent that can be installed and run on Windows guests.
Changes to the spice-vdagent-win component:
- Previously, spice-vdagent did not check if the session on the guest was locked. This resulted in accepting file-transfer requests from the client, even when the screen on the guest was locked.
In this release, spice-vdagent checks whether the session is locked, and if it is file-transfer requests from the client are rejected. (BZ#1323628)
