An updated logwatch package that fixes one bug is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.
Description
Logwatch is a customizable, pluggable log-monitoring system, which goes through the user's logs for a given period of time and creates a report in the areas the user needs.
This update fixes the following bug:
- Due to insufficient logic in the source code, Logwatch failed to run if there were too many empty files to process. This update fixes the logic to skip empty files, as there is nothing in them to process. As a result, the described failure no longer occurs. (BZ#921409)
Users of logwatch are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which fixes this bug.
