Synopsis
rhevm-reports 3.4.2 bug fix update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Red Hat Insights patch analysis
Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
An updated rhevm-reports package that fixes two bugs is now available.
Description
The Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization reports package provides a suite of
pre-configured reports and dashboards that enable you to monitor the system. The
reports module is based on JasperReports and JasperServer, and can also be used
to create ad-hoc reports.
Changes to the rhevm-reports component:
- Previously, following an upgrade of rhevm-reports, the input controls in the
reports portal became unusable. Now, the default theme that was causing the
upgrade issues has been removed, and the input controls work correctly after
upgrade. (BZ#1124247)
- 'war' file is now deleted from the file system after a clean install of
reports fails in engine setup. (BZ#1124383)
Users should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves these issues.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure all previously-released errata relevant
to your system have been applied.
Affected Products
- Red Hat Virtualization 3.4 x86_64
Fixes
- BZ - 1124247 - Reports provides default theme in repository and this can cause issues on JRS rebase
- BZ - 1124383 - [Setup] - when clean install fails after war is deployed it remains in the file system and not deleted
