Topic

An updated MySQL-python package that fixes multiple bugs is now available for
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.

Description

MySQL-python is an interface to the MySQL database server for Python.

The MySQL-python package has been upgraded to version 1.2.3c1, which provides
multiple bug fixes over the previous version. (BZ#475854, BZ#555868)

Users who require MySQL-python are advised to upgrade to this updated package,
which fixes these bugs.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously-released errata relevant
to your system have been applied.
