An updated prelink package that fixes a bug is now available for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 6.
Description
The prelink utility is used to modify ELF shared libraries and executables. This
reduces the number of relocations that need to be resolved at runtime, and thus
enables faster start-up.
This update fixes the following bug:
- When the prelink utility was used to modify executables or shared libraries,
it did not preserve the corresponding access control lists (ACL) other than
SELinux context. This update ensures that the ACLs are preserved as expected.

All users of prelink are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which fixes
this bug.
Solution
