RHBA-2008:0260 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
system-config-cluster bug fix update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
An updated system-config-cluster package that fixes a bug is now available.
Description
The system-config-cluster package contains system-config-cluster, a utility
which allows you to graphically manage cluster configuration.
system-config-cluster looked for "/usr/sbin/cman_tool", which is incorrect
on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4. After installing or upgrading to
"system-config-cluster-1.0.51-2.", running "system-config-cluster" and
navigating to the "Management" tab caused an error such as the following:
Node information is temporarily unavailable.
A problem was encountered when attempting to get information about the
nodes in the cluster: /bin/bash: /usr/sbin/cman_tool: No such file or
directory
A traceback error may have occurred. As well, in the "Management" tab, the
"Name" and "Status" columns in the "Members" section showed incorrect
values. In this updated package, a "/usr/sbin/cman_tool" symbolic link
pointing to "/sbin/cman_tool" has been added.
Users of system-config-cluster are advised to upgrade to this updated
package, which resolves this issue.
