Updated crypto-utils packages that fix various bugs are now available.
Description
The crypto-utils package provides tools for managing and generating SSL
certificates and keys.
Bugs fixed in these updated packages include:
- the permissions of the certwatch cron script have been fixed so that
this cron script is executed daily.
- duplicate warnings would be produced by the certwatch utility if a
certificate was configured in multiple virtual hosts
- the address to which certwatch sends warning e-mails was not customizable
- expiry calculations in certwatch were incorrect in some time zones
Users of the crypto-utils package are advised to upgrade to these updated
packages, which resolve these issues.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
This update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network,
launch the Red Hat Update Agent with the following command:
up2date
This will start an interactive process that will result in the appropriate
RPMs being upgraded on your system.
