Updated rhn-applet packages that fix a packaging bug and an issue related
to detecting the IA64 kernel are now available.

Description

The rhn-applet package contains a panel applet that indicates when newer
Red Hat packages are available.

This erratum fixes a bug that caused a configuration file to be incorrectly
classified, and thus incorrectly reported as modified by the rpm --verify
command. It also fixes an issue which caused the applet to incorrectly
report that a non-standard kernel was being used on IA-64 systems.

Users are advised to upgrade to these updated rhn-applet packages, which
resolve these issues.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.

This update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network,
launch the Red Hat Update Agent with the following command:

up2date

This will start an interactive process that will result in the appropriate
RPMs being upgraded on your system.
