Updated dovecot packages that address various bugs are now available.

Description

Dovecot is an IMAP server for Linux/UNIX-like systems, primarily written
with security in mind.

This erratum includes the following bug fixes, including additional
documentation and migration scripts from UW IMAP to dovecot:

  • cleans up temporary kerberos tickets
  • adds REDHAT-FAQ.txt to doc directory
  • removes LITERAL+ capability from capability string
  • stops dovecot before installation of new files, allowing

dovecot to restart normally after installation.

  • dovecot no longer starts too early during system boot
  • adds UW to Dovecot migration documentation and scripts
  • fixes SSL documentation and scripts and adds missing documentation
  • Dovecot no longer returns PLAIN in SASL list for pop3 login.

Dovecot now works correctly with MAC Eudora POP3 clients.

All users of dovecot should upgrade to these updated packages, which
resolve these issues.
