An updated tcsh package that fixes various bugs is now available.
Description
Tcsh is an enhanced but completely compatible version of csh, the C
shell. Tcsh is a command language interpreter which can be used both
as an interactive login shell and as a shell script command processor.
Bugs fixed in this updated package include:
- Architecture was reported as "unknown" on ia64, ppc64, s390, s390x and
x86_64 in $HOSTTYPE and $MACHTYPE.
- tcsh could crash on x86_64 under unlikely conditions.
Users are advised to upgrade to this updated tcsh package, which resolve
these issues.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
This update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network,
launch the Red Hat Update Agent with the following command:
up2date
This will start an interactive process that will result in the appropriate
RPMs being upgraded on your system.
