An updated cman-kernel packages that fixes various issues is now available
for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 Update 2, kernel release (2.6.9-22.0.1.EL).
Description
The cman-kernel package contains modules that allow the cluster manager
(cman) to communicate with the kernel.
A fix was implemented to improve the performance of barriers in cman.
A feature was added to force an interface to retry its connection a
configurable number of times before the cluster is shut down.
Users are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which resolves this
issue and adds this enhancement.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
This update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network,
launch the Red Hat Update Agent with the following command:
up2date
This will start an interactive process that will result in the appropriate
RPMs being upgraded on your system.
