Red Hat Insights patch analysis
Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
An updated mod_auth_mysql package that fixes a default configuration
setting is now available.
Description
The mod_auth_mysql package includes an extension module for the Apache HTTP
Server which can be used to implement web user authentication against a
MySQL database.
The mod_auth_mysql module attempted to handle requests requiring
authentication even when the module was not configured. The
"AuthMySQLEnable On" directive must now be used in the appropriate context
to enable handling of authentication by mod_auth_mysql.
All users of mod_auth_mysql should upgrade to this updated package, which
resolves this issue.
