EMC Ionix SMARTS Integration Vritual Appliance which has been transformed to operate in a JeOS (Just Enough OS) environment based on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 platform. This is an EMC|SMARTS InCharge OI SNMP Trap Adapter in a virtual appliance format. Enables quick and agile deployment of core component and integrates fully with the EMC|SMARTS Service Assurance Manager (SAM) framework.  Requires no prior Operating System environment. Enables quick and easy deployment with menu-driven prompt of information. Allows for ongoing upgrade and maintenance without the significant overhead of a full operating system.  Incorporates Just-enough-OS (JeOS) concept.  Additionally, this product enables you to implement updated Trap Definition (trapd.conf) through a patch mechanism.
