STELLAR Core Parasitic Extractor

STELLAR Core Parasitic Extractor fills the circuit size gap between typical small cell solvers and full chip extractors. STELLAR uses a new highly efficient field solver algorithm to characterize cells containing up to 50,000 active elements, giving the physics-based accuracy of a traditional field solver with the cell size capability previously only associated with a rule-based full chip extractor. STELLAR directly transforms mask and process data into a fully back annotated SPICE netlist. Key Features Parasitic extraction for cores and chips with more than 50,000 transistors with very high accuracy - SPICE netlist extraction based on Simucad- ’s HIPEX-net full chip netlist extractor - Use of a highly efficient fictitious domain numerical method reduces simulation time and memory requirement - Differential formulation of the numerical method used correctly accounts for structures containing floating electrodes - Intuitive and user-friendly graphical user interface - Integrated scripting language provides user with infinite possibilities for data manipulation - Gate capacitance already in the SPICE model is automatically removed from the parasitic netlist
