TransitWorks is a Computer Aided Dispatch/Automatic Vehicle Location (CAD/AVL) solution. It provides a variety of Dispatch functions (Call Management, Event Management, Vehicle Status and Schedule Monitoring), as well as a full historical reporting database. TransitWorks is a modular system, that can be used to replace or augment an existing vehicle data network to replace out-dated hardware/software servers, or used as a base for a new installation and integrate with a new vehicle data network using either radio or cellular data protocols. TransitWorks is a client/server environment that will operated in mixed Linux/Windows environments.
