AgentOS

AgentOS consists of an agent based software development toolkit, management console and lightweight execution environments. Together they provide a virtualization layer that breaks the existing bond between enterprise applications & dedicated server environments. No longer will applications need to be bound to a specific machine, either at deployment or program runtime. AgentOS allows multiple applications, each comprised of mobile software agents, to share computational resources across a heterogeneous computer network. The mobile agents represent software building blocks, serving as the foundation of a service oriented architecture. The long standing approach to building enterprise applications, that are targeted to run in their own dedicated silo, is now obsolete. Existing J2EE application servers & first generation grids have architectures that are based on a legacy client server computing model. This older architecture requires that at least one server run within a middle tier, making it a central point of failure. Our innovative design is based upon a patented- “zero middleware” product architecture. This means that the components used for dispatching tasks, environment monitoring, resource utilization & scheduling have been moved out to the application client & execution layers. Our architecture eliminates the need for any expensive middleware licensing fees, as well as ensures better performance, reliability & scalability.
