A GPL-licensed virtual Linux block device, DRBD replicates data synchronously and in real time between hosts. It removes any need for costly legacy replication-capable SAN hardware, and provides full Shared-Nothing capability to Red Hat Enterprise Linux high availability clusters.
DRBD integrates seamlessly with the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 High Availability Add-on.
