JET-SECURITY, identity and access management for Linux/Unix. JET-SECURITY for Linux/Unix offers, above existing standard security concepts, an additional step for system security and system journaling. The access to JET-SECURITY is only possible via an extra, time limited password. Existing standard security of the system will be preserved. JET-SECURITY for Linux/Unix consists of several modules: module to create the functionality, to process and to report the activities. This splitting in different modules offers for one a further step of security as to the other a flexible use on different systems, also without a graphical interface, as well as controlling the access via LDAP. Functions: • Stations/Hosts can be administratet under one name as a Pool • Users can be summarized as groups • Dynamic change of logon rights while running system. • Optional reaction while unsuccessful LOGON • Reduction of the administration while restricting remote hosts -Through this fast and easy security. • Optional recording of Logon attempts, invalid as well, on a file -e.g. ../authlog, ../messages • All action, entered commands, can be recorded. • Centralised production of an audit trail with all commands and system input.
