Maximo Asset Management Scheduler 7.5: Weblogic Application Server -- Agent

You use IBM® Maximo® Asset Management Scheduler to visually manage, schedule, and assign work and resources in your organization. You manage upcoming work and assignments by creating schedules. By using the Gantt view, maps, and calendars, you can see the work and resource requirements that are in the schedule. For unplanned work, respond to requirements by graphically assigning work to the appropriate labors and crews based on their availability. You can create street-level routes for work lists to visually manage work progress. Manage all aspects of scheduling by configuring the scheduling process. Define crew types, which group together the positions, qualifications, and tools that are required to complete a specific type of work. Create crews that consist of the specific resources that are needed to perform the work. Schedule and assign work so that resources are not overloaded or underused. Define date and precedence constraints for tasks, and apply critical path methodology to your schedule. Use geolocation to locate the position of labors and crews to track work progress in real time. If your labor and crew reources have mobile devices that can access IBM Maximo Everyplace®, they can remotely complete their daily tasks, such as preparing resources, and reviewing and updating work orders.
