JCuba is the follow-up product of the successfully used device framework CUBA in 100% pure Java technology. Based on the CEN standard J/XFS JCuba allows access/control of banking peripheral devices on a logical layer in various architectures such as Fat Client, Client/Server environment, Citrix Meta-Frame (Thin Client), Sun Ray from Sun Microsystems (Ultra Thin Client system) and J2EE. Already many device types are supported by the extensive driver collection of JCuba. Functions: JCuba is a technical runtime environment/framework for the access to banking peripheral devices and services based on the CEN standard J/XFS. Beside the use of JCuba own J/XFS device drivers it's also possible to integrate existing J/XFS device drivers from other hardware companies. Apart from standard installations as well Java Web Start can be used for the software distribution.
