The model may be built using either a layer-based or volume-based workflow. Offset ray trace validation - Zero-offset ray tracing allows you to determine where vertical stretch depth conversion is valid and where it would cause errors outside of your tolerance. Well validation - You can compare actual well picks from OpenWorks to your depth conversion results and get a quantitative measure of model accuracy. 3D visualization - 3D visualization lets you see your model in full 3D perspective. Access to OpenWorks and SeisWorks data - Time-depth tables, well picks and interpreted horizons can easily be loaded from OpenWorks and SeisWorks and incorporated into the velocity model.
