RAVE

RAVE™ Reservoir Attribute Analysis Software - With RAVE™ reservoir attribute analysis software, geoscientists and engineers can rapidly visualize relationships between seismic attributes and petrophysical data. Interconnectivity between crossplots, map views, histograms, tabular data and DecisionSpace® Desktop or SeisWorks® seismic views provides an integrated analysis environment for discovering subtle or hidden relationships between reservoir properties. And with dynamic links from RAVE analysis tools to DecisionSpace Desktop or SeisWorks workflows, interpreters can predict favorable reservoir properties away from well control. RAVE productivity tools include tabular data views, user defined display/view settings, streamlined regression/crossplot interactivity, DecisionSpace Desktop or SeisWorks/RAVE merge and math operations. Benefits Easily correlate attributes to well properties - Compare well properties, such as porosity and net pay, with seismic attributes from maps or data from Z-MAP Plus™ grids. RAVE software’s correlation matrix identifies the seismic attributes that have the best correlation to favorable well properties. Quickly predict reservoir properties away from wells - User selected correlation data points can be broadcast interactively to SeisWorks Map View and Seismic View tools, DecisionSpace® Desktop or GeoProbe sessions. View seismic attributes that have a strong correlation to favorable well properties in the context of your prospect from any DecisionSpace Desktop or SeisWorks view, and accurately predict reservoir properties and extents away from well control. Features Cross-correlate any available data - Compare data obtained from OpenWorks® well curves, DecisionSpace® Desktop horizons, SeisWorks® horizons, Z-MAP Plus MFDs, or any external ASCII file. Build pointsets of OpenWorks well attributes using PointSet Builder. Dynamic links to DecisionSpace Desktop or SeisWorks Isolated clusters of data can be broadcast for display in SeisWorks. RAVE points displayed in DecisionSpace Desktop or SeisWorks can also be selected in DecisionSpace® Desktop or SeisWorks and highlighted in multiple RAVE view options. Multiple linked views - Multiple RAVE views are in constant communication so that data selected in one view is highlighted in all other views. Rank Correlation View - Calculate rank correlations between any combinations of attributes and display them in a matrix. You can quickly pick the best correlations by color and launch the corresponding crossplot views. 2-D Crossplot View - Any two attributes are plotted along the X and Y axis with a third attribute illustrated by color and a fourth attribute displayed in a histogram format. 3-D Crossplot View - Study up to 5 attributes at a time. 3 attributes are displayed along the X,Y,Z axes. The fourth attribute is illustrated by color and the fifth attribute displayed in a histogram format. The 3D plot is interactively rotated to discover or enhance subtle trends. The “Project Pursuit” option automatically selects the orientation that displays the best trend. 2-D Matrix View - Displays multiple crossplots in a single window. Tabular View - Raw data values, well names, perforation information, and other textual data can be viewed and edited from a tabular view. Connectivity with cross plot and map view windows enhances analysis and QC workflows. Summary Statistics View - Compare histograms of multiple attributes and examine their corresponding statistics. Data Sub setting - Data can be subdivided using a combination of polygon selection and histogram selection. These subsets are saved for application to other views or further regression or cluster analysis. XY-Merge - Sparse point data can be merged with more densely sampled seismic data or map grids. Regression analysis and modeling - Polynomial least squares regression of one attribute as a function of another, or you may set up your own polynomial functions and save them as models for use in other regression analyses or as crossplot overlays. Cluster Analysis - Several attributes can be combined to isolate data into a user defined number of clusters. Seismic data import - Imports prospect level or line of section .3DV, .cmp, and bricked format seismic data into RAVE tables for well-seismic calibration, AVO and multi-volume 4-D workflows.
