With DepthCharge, the labor intensive and interpretive nature of this processing workflow can be executed more easily, often saving days over common approaches. Built upon the industry leading SeisSpace/ProMAX processing system, DepthCharge allows processors to rapidly and iteratively analyze velocities, build a depth model, and migrate the data so that the optimal depth image can be interpreted. While velocity modeling and depth imaging have historically been both a labor and compute intensive process, the DepthCharge workflow couples simple usability designs with software architecture designed specifically for harnessing cluster multi-core CPU technology.
