Advanced Data Transfer™ (ADT) is a tool which enables these data movement operations to be configured and executed. It effectively transports data records from a data source to a data target, thereby allowing data managers or administrators to deliver information where and when it is needed. ADT’s generic data readers and writers can connect to any data store published to Landmark’s PowerHub™ data access infrastructure. These readers are meta-data driven and therefore have the flexibility to adapt to any data model from any source – Landmark, third party or proprietary. This solution enables a high degree of component reuse, data model independence through XML (and emerging standards for migration) as well as complete control of data transformation, thereby preserving data precision.
