Network Shutdown Module

MGE Network Shutdown Module (NSM) for Linux is part of the MGE Network Solution. NSM is an application that is installed on one or several Red Hat servers to trigger power-related, automatic actions like an orderly system shutdown, the ability to shed non-critical devices or eMail notifications. NSM interfaces with any MGE UPS equipped with a Network Management Card. Network Shutdown Module v3 is MGE's solution for servers to automate various functions. It : - Continuously waits for information from the Management Proxy or Management Card connected to the MGE UPS;- Warns administrators and users if AC power fails and proceeds with graceful system shutdown before the end of battery backup power is reached. This latest version offers a remote supervision interface through any web browser (with a secured SSL/HTTPS connection enabled by default), and is able to manage multi UPS redundant configurations.
