COBOL-IT Compiler Suite is an Open Source COBOL compiler and runtime system. It is based on ANS85, ANS89, ANS93 standards and on the ANS2002 extension of the COBOL language. COBOL-IT Compiler Suite and all related compilation and execution tools are available on Unix, Linux, zLinux and Windows platforms. COBOL-IT Compiler Suite is compatible with software such as Oracle Pro*COBOL, IBM UDB / DB2 Precompiler, the Syncsort sorting tool, the XFRAME transactional monitor by HTWC. COBOL-IT provides COBOL precompilers for MySQL, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server as well. COBOL-IT actively collaborates with players in the Eclipse world for which COBOL-IT offers a very high level development environment for programmers.
