Absoft Pro Fortran For Linux

Absoft's Pro Fortran for Linux automates building extremely fast parallel code on multi-core systems. The Absoft compiler takes full advantage of multi-core architectures with OpenMP 3.0 support, auto-parallelization, auto-vectorization, and Absoft's exclusive automatic Dynamic AP load balancing technology. Absoft Pro Fortran for Linux provides a complete Fortran development solution including:

  • A full Fortran 90/Fortran 95 compiler with select features from Fortran 2003/2008 as well as complete FORTRAN 77 support
  • The AbsoftTools integrated development environment with SMP visual code analyzer and support for mixed Fortran and C/C++ projects
  • The Fx3 multi-language source level debugger
  • The Absoft Window Environment (AWE) GUI framework with easy to use data visualization capabilities
  • A bundled HPC Scientific and Engineering Math Library package

Also included and integrated into the AbsoftTools platform are pre-compiled versions of popular libraries such as HDF, PLPLOT, and NetCDF. A full documentation package with user guides, reference manuals, and technical notes is provided in PDF format.

Absoft Pro Fortran for Linux has been independently verified as a top performing Fortran compiler for 64-bit Linux on both Intel® and AMD ® processors. The Absoft compiler conforms to all DoD MIL-STD 1753, FIPS 69-1, and POSIX standards, and supports most popular VAX/VMS extensions. The included Absoft Window Environment (AWE) provides an optional GUI environment for compiled Fortran applications. The AbsoftTools IDE accepts select third party products as plug-ins, including the CUDA libraries. The Visual Numerics IMSL v7.0 mathematics and statistics libraries are an available bundle option.
