The RBSM_DRA products supports the following functionality:

• parameter-based request routing;
• load balancing;
• centralized Diameter protocol configuration on various hardware;
• ability to change the number and configuration of PCEF nodes without having to reconfigure the Policy & Charging Control Server (PCCM_SRV) application;
• ability to change the number and configuration of PCCM_SRV servers without having to reconfigure the PCEF;
• ability to route all Diameter sessions established via the Gx interface within a given IP-CAN session to the same PCCM server;
• PCCM server monitoring;
• interoperability between PCCM_SRV and DRA_SRV (provide their Application Identifier);
• service disruption and overload prevention;
• geo routing.
