Mavenir’s ePDG uses IPSec/Internet Key Exchange (IKE) v2 for tunnel termination and Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) framework with AKA mechanism for tunnel authentication and authorization functions with extensive support to provide protection from access attacks.
