OpenStack is often used in conjunction with network functions virtualization (NFV) technology in data centers to deploy cloud services, especially communications services offered by large service providers and cloud providers. Along with its flagship DNS, DHCP and IPAM services, Infoblox offers virtualized appliances for DNS cache acceleration services (vDCA) and Advanced DNS Protection (vADP) for OpenStack deployments. Using DNS cache acceleration services, DNS query resolution can be more responsive for resolvers across the network.
