Multi-Site Manager (MSM) delivers secure, multi-tenant OpenStack orchestration across multiple distributed sites. MSM scales OpenStack infrastructure from global cloud centers, to network edge sites such as Central Offices Re-architected as Datacenters (CORD), to customer premise equipment (CPE), to micro-sites for mobile-edge clouds for NFV and IoT. MSM seamlessly integrates with northbound OSS/BSS, customer portals, and NFV orchestration systems through open APIs that consolidate and coordinate service requests for cloud resources. MSM synchronizes service requests across multiple OpenStack instances to create a single customer-centric view. Full network integration for virtual resources, backbone networks and external resources (e.g., public clouds) via Floating IP with bandwidth quota management is automatically configured by MSM. MSM also provides complete control over virtual resources (create, delete, stop, start, etc.). MANO-compliant NFV lifecycle management is provided through tight integration with NFVi platform provisioning solutions and NFV Orchesration (NFVO) and NFV Management (NFVM) platforms.
