NetApp Data ONTAP operating in 7-mode implementing the Block Storage (Cinder) API has been certified for Red Hat OpenStack Platform.
The NetApp Data ONTAP operating in 7-mode Block Storage driver provisions and manages OpenStack volumes on storage provided by the Data ONTAP storage operating system. The driver does not require any additional management software to achieve the desired functionality. It uses NetApp APIs to interact with Data ONTAP.
