TSM is an API that is 100% pure Java, so runs on any platform that has a 1.4 or later JVM.
TSM allows you to synchronize your data bi-directionally between an Oracle or MS SQL Server database and desktops, laptops and handheld devices, both CDC and CLDC, using PointBase Embedded databases for more powerful computing platforms and PointBase Micro databases for persistent storage on devices.

TSM uses a hub and spoke architecture with filters that allow spoke data to be a subset of the data on the hub.

The synchronization interval can be anything from near-real-time to on-demand.
