Pointwise is the next-generation of mesh generation software for computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Building upon Gridgen's 25-year legacy of reliable CFD meshing, Pointwise features a new, modern graphical user interface and streamlined workflow for CFD preprocessing. Pointwise generates structured, unstructured, and hybrid meshes; utilizes both analytic and faceted CAD geometry imported from native, neutral, and de facto standard formats; and interfaces to a wide variety of engineering software including Fluent, Star-CCM+, and OpenFOAM.
