IRI FieldShield protects personally-identifying information (PII) with data masking, encryption, and other data security functions down to the field level. With IRI FieldShield, compliance officers and data loss prevention (DLP) teams can apply their business rules to the protection of sensitive data in flat files and ODBC-connected database tables. Using an Eclispe GUI, IRI FieldShield users can select from a menu of many different security functions to apply to each field, based on its contents, desired appearance after protection, authorization level of the user, and need for reversability. IRI FieldShield can also be used to decrypt or otherwise unmask the protected data as needed.
