「x86_energy_perf_policy」工具使系統管理員能夠定義相關效能重要性與能源效率。此工具由「kernel-tools」套件提供。
欲參閱目前原則，請執行以下命令：
# x86_energy_perf_policy -r
欲設定新原則，請執行以下命令：
# x86_energy_perf_policy profile_name
用以下其中之一的設定檔取代設定檔名。
- performance
- 程序並不因節能而犧牲效能。這是預設值。
- normal
- 處理器容許犧牲一點效能以達到可能的大幅度節能。這對於大多數伺服器和桌上型電腦是合理的節能方式。
- powersave
- 處理器接受為了使能源效率提升至最大限度，而可能造成的效能大幅度降低。
