2.8. turbostat
turbostat 是由「kernel-tools」套件提供。turbostat 對處理器拓撲、頻率、閒置電源狀態數據、溫度和 Intel® 64 處理器上的電源使用量提出報告 。
turbostat 有助於辨識電源使用量或閒置時間方面低效率的伺服器，也有助於辨識發生在系統上的系統管理中斷（SMI）。此外，turbostat 也能用於核對電源管理微調的效果。
turbostat 的運作需要 root 權限，也需要以下的處理器支援：
- 恆定時間標示計數器
- APERF 特定型號註冊碼
- MPERF 特定型號註冊碼
